Kuranda Outing

Our March outing is planned for March the 27th and will take place in Kuranda.   Larry has kindly organised free entry to Birdworld and Kuranda Koala Gardens in return for the exchange of photographs taken by members,  images to be forwarded to Larry who will collate them and pass them on to the business owners.  The owners were delighted with the images provided after the Hartley’s Creek outing last year so hopefully we can do the same this year in Kuranda!

We need to meet at 9.30 am at the Birdworld Kuranda entry, this is half an hour before opening time giving us the opportunity to get some nice early morning shots.  After Birdworld we move to the Koala Gardens.

They have booked us as a group of 20 so please confirm to me by March the 20th if you would like to join us for this outing!

If the weather permits we can also visit the Scenic railway station in Kuranda,  there is also a lovely Riverwalk starting near the Station, with beautiful gumtrees, pretty river scenes and plenty of birdlife.

In regards to entry to Birdworld and Koala gardens, at present due to Government requirements, all person 16 years+ needs to be double vaccinated & show proof of this.

There are plenty of coffee and lunch opportunities in Kuranda,  depending on our program!
